[I took a good listen to each (most) of the instrumentals, purely deciding on sound and not lyrics which one I liked the most. Time Machine Reprise easily takes that, even with no lyrics it is so clearly a weighty, significant song with silences that speak as much as its sounds. Beautiful.] Favorite track: Time Machine Reprise (Instrumental).

praisedrays The intricacies of the instrumentals is often buried by the vocals, which is unfortunate but makes sense. The lyrics are the most important part of the story anyway. I want to specifically note Special, since it references like 5 other songs and The Soul Eclectic because it has the original The Mind Electric playing underneath it, both of which are interesting. Also, I don't know why these instrumentals aren't on streaming services, and I hope they see a release there some day. Favorite track: The Soul Eclectic (Instrumental).

Aubsickle Listening to the instrumentals on their own allowed me to notice alot of little things that i wouldn't have noticed in the main tracks. It is also very good background music for when i have to get work done. Favorite track: Special (Instrumental).
